There are a few other text editors that offer similar features, such as Write Space and Quite Writer. It has to be one of my favorite text editor/writing apps that there is. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, but that’s the allure. The writing environment is simple and text is saved automatically with every key stroke. You can use it directly in your browser and helps you concentrate on writing without a ton of distractions. It works with Dropbox and Google Drive for easy syncronization.
